How to Read a Slot Paytable: A Beginner’s Guide
Open any slot, hit the info or paytable button, and you see rows of symbols with numbers next to them. That grid tells you exactly what each combination returns and how the game pays out.
Find the Paytable Button First
Most games place it near the bottom or side of the reels. Tap it once and the screen flips to the payouts. You can scroll through pages or swipe between tabs until the symbols line up with their values.
Do this before you spin. It takes thirty seconds and saves you from guessing later.
Read the Symbol Payouts
Each symbol has its own row. The table lists how many credits three, four, or five matching symbols pay. Look for the highest numbers first to see which icons matter most.

The paytable also lists special symbols. Check how many scatters start free spins and whether wilds substitute for everything except scatters.
